Linda
Barter Legal case
We employed a top Medical
Negligence solicitor who was incapable of being successful
with legal action and we lost ££ approx in solicitors fees
plus other expenses over a period of 3 1/2 years. I
have 2 reports from Orthopaedic/Rhyumetology also Osteopathy
reports that clearly state the damage to my neck BUT you
have to get an ' Independent ' Chiropractors report.
I did, in fact I
got two separate reports, neither expressed the bad
condition of my neck as stated in the other two previous
reports, in fact the one ' Independent ' Chiropractic report
stated that ' the procedure was carried out in the correct
manner ' , I ask how does he know, he was not present when I
had my treatment?
My working hours had to reduce
due to the pain, hence loss of more money but whilst at work
a friend gave me a cutting from a newspaper i.e.Frances
Denoon's story. I contacted her, the rest is history but the
fight will go on to make others aware of the dangers
involved.
The Chiropractor who treated me
fled the country 8 weeks following my complaint, I then
heard of others who had been treated by the same
Chiropractor and had had similar problems, I think I was the
final nail in the coffin.
After going through all of this
pain, surgical procedures and mental torture of 3.5 years
with a solicitor who could not win our case, a new G.P. came
to our surgery, I went to her and explained all, she could
not help with my neck but she found out what the pains were
over my eyes - BLOCKED SINUS'S. Not a thought was
given to this in my first consultation with the
Chiropractor, so simple if you know how, and these people
have the cheek to put Doctor before their names.
